A social enterprise with a mission to give all parents access to first aid training, The Parentmedic Movement needed to establish its overall positioning as a peak body, and increase leads and sales.
Child Abuse Prevention Services (CAPS)
Service: Rebranding consulting and editing
CAPS needed to rebrand. Their focus had changed: they provide early intervention services which strengthens families and allows children to thrive, but their name still focused on abuse. It misrepresented their work, and it was alienating corporate sponsors.
I helped them find a rebranding agency, created a rebranding brief and framework, and identified a range of possible new names and taglines. I edited their corporate partnership proposal and their annual report.
PAAJAF

A foundation in Ghana that helps children and women rise out of poverty through education and community services.
PAJAAF first wanted a copywriter to help with their volunteer website, but it turned out they needed a lot more than that.
Within a few weeks I had agreed to become their Head of Marketing on a volunteer basis, coordinating a global team of talented and dedicated volunteers.
I developed a Brand Framework and Marketing Plan. These offered clearer, more emotive Mission, Vision & value proposition statements. I developed a plan for acquisition, nurture and conversion for volunteers, donors and grants and coordinated the SEO keyword research.

They needed a website for their social enterprise, a financial empowerment course that would help fund their work with disadvantaged people.

UofA needed to fix the descriptions of their Science degrees. They wanted an approachable yet conservative style. The descriptions needed to appeal to people who were new to the topic, while still having authoritatively for those who were already knowledgeable.

This was a market filled with images of people in grey cardigans talking about safety and dignity. We flipped this on its head, talking to the target market as feisty, adventurous people deserving of freedom.
